Andrew Litzerman, CFA®, CMT®
Chief Investment Officer

Andrew Litzerman, CFA®, CMT®, serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Seascape.  As CIO, Andrew is responsible for the firm's full scope of investment services.  He designs and implements the firm's investment process, strategy, and research. He also develops asset allocation models to manage portfolio risk.

Andrew’s introduction to the art of investing began at a young age, while watching CNBC with his father, also an investor and CFA charter holder. Andrew recalls this early education helping him to build the mental muscle necessary to understand the axiom “In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable.” (investor, Robert Arnott). Physical muscle development was encouraged by playing softball and chasing his escape-artist beagle, Suzy, around the neighborhood.

After spending a year as an Operations Analyst at Goldman Sachs, Andrew joined Citi Private Bank in 2009 as an Investment Associate. Landing a job in the Great Recession was no easy task.   Apparently, Andrew displayed recognizable talent even then.  He spent five years at Citi working with Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients, researching investment ideas, and building customized client portfolios. Andrew joined Seascape Capital in 2015.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.  He was awarded a CFA® Charter in 2013 and a Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation in 2016.  He holds memberships in the CMT Association and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
