Laurie Barrett joined Seascape Capital Management in 2021 as Director of Marketing and Client Success. Often described as the firm’s “air traffic controller,” she keeps workflows and service delivery running smoothly so nothing falls through the cracks while leading the firm's digital presence and client engagement initiatives. Guided by the belief that “how you do anything is how you do everything,” she brings quality to every detail, no matter how small.

Laurie started her financial career in 2000 working for a pension consulting firm. Before joining Seascape, she spent just over a decade as Director of Client Relations for a Vermont-based asset management firm, where she worked with High-Net-Worth individuals, family groups, and institutions. She earned a Series 65 license in 2008 as an Investment Advisor Representative and holds an AS in Business Administration from Champlain College.

Born and raised in Vermont, Laurie took the opportunity to trade the mountains for the ocean in 2019 when she found her dream home on Gerrish Island in Kittery Point, Maine. Laurie, her husband, and their rescue dog now enjoy a water view every morning.
