October 2024 ~ Two years ago this November, Seascape Capital Management, LLC invited Mariana Budjeryn, a gifted Senior Research Associate with the Project on Managing the Atom at Harvard's Belfer Center, to speak at an event we hosted at the One Hundred Club. She spoke about the war in Ukraine and the influence of nuclear weaponry on the balance of power. What makes her presentations so intriguing and relevant — besides the fact that her doctoral thesis analyzed the forces that led to Ukraine’s 1994 nuclear disarmament — is that she is Ukrainian. Her book on the topic, 𝐼𝑛ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑚𝑏, was published in December 2022. We sponsored a second event in March 2023 for Mariana's book signing. Mariana and Monica have kept in touch since their serendipitous meeting on a plane and have become friends. The rest is an example of the frequent and fortuitous connections that define life on the Seacoast. A dear friend from Monica's Pan Mass Challenge riding days, thought to introduce her and Mariana to Susan Lassen of The Portsmouth Athenaeum. Susan is a force and brought together Mariana with the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire for what promises to be an enlightening and incredibly relevant presentation to be held October 18th at the Athenaeum. Whether or not you were able to attend one of our previous events with Mariana, we thought we would spread the word in case you want to try and see her at this event on Friday, October 18th at 5:30, if space is available. September 2024 ~ Cheers to 20 Years! Two decades of building relationships, reaching milestones, and making memories deserve a celebration -- and celebrate we did! Surrounded by laughter, joy, and the incredible people who've made this journey possible, our 20th-anniversary bash at The View at Pepperrell Cove was nothing short of spectacular. From clients turned friends, and colleagues turned family: cheers to each of you who've been part of our story. Here's to the next 20!

June 2024 ~ As part of our commitment to community engagement, the Seascape Capital Management team volunteered at Hope On Haven Hill to help make their housing even more welcoming for the women and children they serve. This organization provides critical support and services to mothers affected by substance use disorder, along with their children. We were blessed with a beautiful day and full hearts!

May 2024 ~ Seascape Capital was a proud sponsor again this year for the Cross Roads House 22nd Annual Benefit by the Sea. This event brought together 200 members of the Seacoast community to learn more about the current state of homelessness on the Seacoast and how CRH supports unhoused individuals and families. This marquee fundraiser solicits a significant portion of the annual funding for the shelter, and this year it garnered more than $615,000!
